Our client based in North Norfolk, is a renowned destination set in the stunning landscapes of North Norfolk. This holiday park offers a serene escape with exceptional amenities and top-notch culinary experiences. 

We are recruiting for a skilled Sous Chef to join this dynamic team and work alongside the Head Chef to manage and oversee a dedicated kitchen team of 6, ensuring high-quality dishes and smooth kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs.
  • Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all dishes served.
  • Step in for the Head Chef in their absence, taking full responsibility for kitchen operations.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
