About the Role
As a Sous Chef, you will play a key role in creating exceptional dining experiences by:
- Preparing and cooking high-quality meals for breakfast and lunch service
- Maintaining kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and adherence to food safety standards
- Collaborating with the team to ensure smooth service operations
- Assisting in the preparation of menus for special events, such as Afternoon Teas and celebratory occasions
- Accommodating dietary requirements and communicating with customers to meet their needs.
- Managing junior staff
- Leading the team in the absence of the Head Chef
We’re seeking a passionate and skilled Chef who has:
- Previous experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role
- A strong understanding of food preparation techniques and safety standards
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, including customer interaction
- Flexibility to work during the restaurant’s operating hours, including weekends
- Annual salary ranging from £30,000 to £32,000
