As a Corporate Transactions Manager, you will work closely with senior leadership to help drive the growth and success of the team. You will take a lead role in overseeing the quality of work across the division, ensuring exceptional client service, mentoring the team, and fostering an inclusive environment. With a strong pipeline of opportunities for 2024 and beyond, this position offers exposure to high-profile clients and a chance to work on confidential and complex corporate transactions.
Additionally, there is the potential to pursue the CF qualification, if appropriate.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing a team on a variety of corporate transactions, including business sales, acquisitions, due diligence, valuations, and strategic planning.
- Managing client relationships, maintaining a deep understanding of their business needs, and identifying opportunities for further service provision.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal teams and external clients, acting as an ambassador for the firm.
- Providing essential management support, ensuring the team delivers to the highest professional standards, while meeting deadlines and focusing on productivity, fee income, and client service.
- Managing workloads and helping guide the team to meet both client and business needs.
- Participating in ongoing training to further develop both technical expertise and personal skills.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual with the following experience and qualifications:
Essential:
- ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification.
- Significant post-qualified experience within an accountancy practice.
- Proven ability to manage a portfolio of clients and lead a team effectively.
- Strong client-focused commercial and technical expertise.
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Demonstrable ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively, with a proactive and “can-do” attitude.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience within Corporate Finance (including company sales, acquisitions, due diligence, valuations, etc.).
- Background in working with an external client base.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and email systems.
