Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes according to the café menu
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen at all times
- Prepare ingredients, assist with stock rotation, and manage inventory
- Work alongside a talented team led by the Head Chef and other senior kitchen staff
- Help with plating and presentation of dishes to ensure they meet the café’s standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance culinary skills
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of the kitchen for service
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
- Culinary qualification or relevant training is a plus
- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
