My client, a leader in providing secure and efficient workplace technology, is looking for a talented on-site Technical Engineer to join their growing team. In this role, you will be visiting clients premises (up to 4 clients per day in Zones 1-2) providing hands-on technical support to their London based clients; working alongside several teams including intercom, engineering, strategist and enterprise to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.

Day to day duties will include:

  • Provide competent, reliable support and excellent customer communication when on-site expertise is required⁠

  • Address and cover on-site visits as the highest priority⁠

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues along with the requested team⁠

  • Ensure all issues are properly logged and changes documented⁠

  • Follow up with clients to ensure systems are fully functional after troubleshooting⁠

  • When not scheduled for on-site visits, assist with tasks and projects for the Intercom, Strategist, or Engineering teams⁠⁠

  • Work with clients remotely to help resolve technical issues via phone or chat⁠

  • Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate team members⁠

  • Create handover notes for outstanding tickets at the end of each workday⁠

  • Provide updates to clients and the internal team about the status of ongoing issues⁠

  • The Onsite Team is responsible for various types of visits, including:

  • Regular health checks on facilities and infrastructure⁠

  • "Surgeries" where the Onsite Engineer is present at the office to address user problems and questions⁠

  • Enterprise agreement fulfilment by providing on-site support within the client's own support processes⁠

  • Project support, such as physically installing equipment or assisting during migrations⁠⁠
