We’re on the lookout for a passionate and talented Sous Chef to join our clients vibrant team. Working closely with their brilliant Head Chef, you’ll help lead the kitchen and deliver delicious, high-quality food that keeps the guests coming back for more.
From hearty breakfasts to mouth-watering lunches and seasonal dinners, you’ll be right at the heart of our culinary offering—contributing to a kitchen that prides itself on fresh, flavorful dishes and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Head Chef in managing day-to-day kitchen operations.
- Lead and motivate the kitchen team in the Head Chef’s absence.
- Maintain the exceptional 5-star food hygiene rating.
- Ensure full compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage kitchen inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
- Collaborate with the team to consistently deliver outstanding food and service.
- Train and guide junior team members in culinary techniques and kitchen procedures.
- Contribute to the creation of exciting new seasonal menus every two months.
- Previous leadership experience in a professional kitchen or restaurant.
- Confident managing kitchen operations and supervising staff.
- Excellent knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations.
- A team player with a genuine passion for food and hospitality.
- Creative flair and a desire to contribute ideas to menu development.
- Culinary qualification or certification is an advantage, but not essential.
