Location: Shropham
Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday (Day Shift: 05:30am – 16:00pm / Late Shift: 16:00pm – 02:30am)
Department: Technical – Reporting to the QA Supervisor
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance (QA) Technician to join our client's technical team. In this role, you will work across all areas of the factory, ensuring that product quality and safety standards are met. You’ll play a key role in identifying and resolving issues on the factory floor, managing corrective actions, and maintaining compliance with food safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution:
    • Proactively identify and address potential issues on the factory floor.
    • Respond promptly to any emerging problems.
  • Corrective Actions Management:
    • Ensure corrective actions are completed within appropriate timescales.
    • Maintain accurate documentation, including hold logs and non-conformance logs.
    • Escalate complex issues to the QA Supervisor.
  • Hygiene & Quality Audits:
    • Conduct hygiene audits and perform micro swabbing and product sampling.
  • Label Verification:
    • Check and validate offline labels, resolving any issues efficiently.
  • Document Control & Compliance:
    • Complete GMP and Process Control documentation accurately.
    • Perform documented checks to confirm that a percentage of the production run meets product specifications.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience:
    • Ideally, you have prior experience in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
  • Skills & Attributes:
    • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime when required.
  • Language & Certification:
    • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime when required.
    • Good level of written and verbal English.
    • Preferred: Level 2 Food Hygiene/Safety certification.
