Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and guide kitchen staff in daily food preparation
- Design and develop creative menus that cater to customer tastes and dietary needs
- Ensure all food complies with safety regulations and standards
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate supply orders
- Work closely with management to create cost-efficient menu strategies
- Train kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety protocols
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace at all times
- Oversee the plating and presentation of dishes to ensure they meet quality expectations
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Proven experience working as a Chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques and flavor pairings
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a high-volume kitchen
- Strong communication skills for interacting with both the kitchen team and customers
- A degree or certification in Culinary Arts is a plus
- Salary: £13.00 - £16.00 per hour
