Database Officer - Part time
We are proud to once again be supporting Momentum Children's Charity, a local organisation that supports families whose children have cancer or a life-challenging condition. The charity was founded 18 years ago by the current Chief Executive and has grown enormously over that time. They currently have partnerships with nine hospitals who refer families for support, which ranges from therapies and counselling, to respite holidays and special family experiences.
It's an exciting time to be involved with this ambitious and growing charity as they scale up and deliver new services to support more families with a seriously ill child. Working across all teams at Momentum Children's Charity, the Database Officer will be a confident advocate for Salesforce and the importance of CRM, to help the charity achieve its strategic goals and provide better service to internal and external stakeholders.
Duties and responsibilities:
Project management and support of teams with a variety of projects in data selection, importing and data cleansing along with ensuring compliance with GDPR.
This role will take sole responsibility for the management and ongoing development of the charity's database, Salesforce. Being a main point of contact for all teams, to ensure effective use of the system, while providing support and mentoring to facilitate this.
Knowledge and skills:
Essential
·Experience and knowledge of working in database management and a genuine love of all things data
·Strong data manipulation skills and MS Excel
Desirable
·Experience of working in a charity with an interest in the charity sector, particularly children/health
Role is part-time, 20 hours per week and remote working is an option however occasional travel to East Molesey will be required.
Salary is £26k-£30k FTE + benefits.
