As the Fork Lift Operative, you will be required to operate a counter balance forklift within a busy active Warehouse. You will be required to move, locate and relocate stock. As the FLT, you will be responsible for the safe movement of the goods around the warehouse.
Main Duties:
- Ensuring health and safety best practices are followed throughout department as to prevent injury to themselves and co-workers.
- Reporting all safety related incidents and concerns in a timely manner.
- Ensuring compliance to PPE, SSoW, Quality Standards and Housekeeping standards.
- Supporting the Production Supervisors and other Production Operators to deliver the production plan on a daily basis.
- Operate forklift trucks to load, unload, move, and stack products and materials.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment.
- Participate in inventory counts and audits as required.
- Working constructively with their co-workers and the wider team to continuously drive improvement in safety, quality, waste and machine efficiency.
- Demonstrating an open, professional and positive culture on their shift
- Your job title does not limit your duties and the Company may require you from time to time to undertake any other duties within your capability.
Shifts are 06:00 to 13:30 or 09:30 to 18:00 paying £12.56ph
