We are seeking dedicated and experienced Temporary School Cooks to join our team of Temporary School Cooks to provide nutritious meals for students across Norfolk and Suffolk.
Successful candidates will be responsible for catering for a variety of sites needs, ensuring all dietary requirements are met.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare daily meals for students, considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained in the kitchen area at all times.
- Coordinate with school staff to accommodate special dietary requirements and preferences.
- Monitor food supplies and place orders as needed to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Follow food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all students and staff.
- Previous experience working as a cook, preferably in a school or similar environment.
- Knowledge of dietary restrictions and experience catering to special dietary needs.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance is essential.
