CNC Machined Parts Finisher
Location: Norwich, Norfolk
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Hours: Standard hours 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday (flexibility required, with normal working hours up to 6:00pm during peak seasons)
About the Role
As a CNC Machined Parts Finisher, you will be responsible for finishing machined components to a high standard before they progress to assembly or painting. You will utilise various hand tools and power tools to ensure smooth, refined edges and surfaces on aluminium and other materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deburring, filing, sanding, staining, and grinding cut edges of machined parts
- Using hand tools and power tools, including hand routers and grinders
- Ensuring finished parts are properly labeled and prepared for the next stage of production
- Collaborating with the Machine Shop Department Leader to coordinate work schedules
- Maintaining high-quality standards and identifying potential production issues
- Keeping the workspace clean, organised, and safe at all times
- Previous experience in finishing CNC-machined parts or similar metal/woodworking roles
- Familiarity with hand tools and powered grinding machines
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
- Ability to read and understand basic CAD drawings
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
