Candela Barranco

Recruitment SpecialistSpecialising in Hospitality

Candela is a dedicated Recruitment Specialist in our Cambridge office, focusing on Front of House positions within the Hospitality sector. Her journey from waitress to Assistant Restaurant Manager at a prestigious establishment, combined with her psychology degree specialising in cognitive neuroscience and consumer behaviour, gives her unique insights into both the practical and human aspects of hospitality recruitment.

As a recruitment professional, Candela pairs her firsthand experience in restaurant management with her deep understanding of human behaviour to connect hospitality talent with their ideal roles. Her progression through various front-of-house roles has equipped her with invaluable knowledge of what makes exceptional service professionals stand out, enabling her to identify and nurture top talent for her clients.

When she's not matching candidates with their perfect roles, Candela expands her understanding of the human mind through reading extensively about behavioural science, anthropology, and cognitive neuroscience. A lifelong musician, she finds balance in her life through playing the cello, bringing the same dedication and precision to her music as she does to her recruitment practice.
